Amazon.com Product Description
Essentially a scaled-down motocross bike with an electric motor, the Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket is ideal for pre-teens and teens (ages 12 and up) who want to enjoy the dirt bike experience without breaking the bank. The Dirt Rocket's powerful motor carries riders at speeds of up to 14 miles per hour--more than enough for most bumpy dirt trails--and can cruise for up to 10 miles (or 40 minutes) on a single charge. At the same time, the bike's dual suspension and riser handlebars deliver a smooth and comfortable ride regardless of the terrain, so your child's fun isn't restricted to flat pavement. As a final bonus, the Dirt Rocket's variable-speed, chain-driven motor is extremely quiet, a marked contrast to traditional gas-powered motocross bikes.

Other details include 12-inch pneumatic knobby tires for a maximum power transfer, authentic dirt bike frame geometry, and a retractable kickstand. The MX350, which requires roughly eight hours to fully charge, offers a maximum weight limit of 140 pounds. It's also backed by a 90-day warranty.

1 out of 5 stars review update: JUNK   October 4, 2008
V S (Milwaukee WI)
Customer service wouldnt warranty a bad rim for us, so I had to buy one...which was out of stock. So was every other part for it.

I get the rim with tire, and THAT TOO bends the first day. I was watching my son on it, he's inder the weight limit and never hit anything on it.

Next, the charger stopped operating. I'm an industrial electrician (same schooling as construction but more intense in motors and controls) so I checked it out. The battery wouldnt hold a charge and the charger doesnt output anything. so, its wheelless and in the corner of the garage.

Total run time: 5 hours.

1 out of 5 stars Important: Change in suspension   September 6, 2008
Dad Of Three (Houston, TX)
The MX350 that we bought in 2006 was outstanding. However, the one that we just bought doesn't have the flexible rear suspension that the earlier models had, which makes for a miserable rough ride for my child. This was a big mistake on behalf of Razor. Also, the travel on the throttle is essentially gone, it's now on/off, rather than adjustable speed. It's a shame that they removed these features and the bike isn't anything like it once was when it was in it's hayday.

3 out of 5 stars the greatest electric bike   July 20, 2008

we've had this bike for 2 years and the only part that we needed replaced was the battery charger and that was our fault. The battery lasts for a good 10 miles and this thing is sturdy. My 6 year old can't destroy it and that's a biggie......

3 out of 5 stars Fun Bike, Weak Motor   June 9, 2008

I bought an MX500 for my 9 year old son, and I bought this bike for my 7 year old. While the MX500 was strong enough to take my older son up the grassy hills of my lawn, the MX350 was too weak to take even my 7 year old son up those same hills.

He still loves the bike and loves to ride it up and down the driveway and down to the cul de sac, but I felt I should have gotten the bigger bike even for my smaller son.

The battery has not given us any problems even after a year.
