| Customer Reviews: Recommended starting age should be 4 years old December 16, 2009 yeems (CA) I bought this for $65 on Amazon for my 3 year old. Granted he's not that tall, but I bet he'd have to be in the 100 percentile for age 3 to reach the pedals! I will have to save this for another year. I do agree that this bike teaches you coordination. I'm sure once he is tall enough and knows how to ride it, he'll be the talk of the town. It's pretty cool looking.
sloopy is awesome April 22, 2008 Thomas C. Poff 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product will help your youngster learn coordination since it steers in reverse direction (left vs. right) and teaches them to transpose directions. It's been great over the last few years. I wish it was bigger so that I could ride it. Am considering having the frame lengthened and putting some larger wheels on it! This product has no brakes. I found it to be no big deal.
