This front mounted seat offers both parent and child excellent range of vision, with the opportunity to interact as they bike together. Noted for its ease of use, the seat takes just a few minutes to install and remove, and it is equally easy and safe to load and unload the child from the seat. Providing plenty of clearance for the knees so that the adult can bike with ease, the seat is positioned so that it is easy to maintain the center of gravity. This adaptable seat fits any adult bike with a minimum of 3/4 inches of clearance on the handlebar stem. The iBert Safe-T seat was developed after its creators became frustrated with the available bike seat options for children. They found that bike trailers kept their kids uncomfortably far away from them, got too hot in the sun, and only provided a limited view out to the children. The rear-mounted seats presented similar problems. The kids had a limited view and it was difficult to interact with them. Additionally, the balance of the bike was off and it was not easy to load and unload the kids. Other front mounted seats were complicated to hook onto the bike and difficult to remove. These seats also did not allow knee clearance for biking, and as a result were not comfortable. The iBert Safe-T seat offers a variety of safety and comfort advantages compared to other child bike seat options. The iBert Safe-T seat allows you to maintain control of the bike when loading and unloading your child. To load and unload the child, you simply straddle the bike and lift the child into or out of the seat. When using the iBert seat you can always see what your child is doing and you can make sure that your child is safe and comfortable at all times. The center of gravity in the iBert seat is closer to the center of the bike making it easier to control the bike as you ride. The seat sits higher on the bike and is smooth on the bottom so that even tall riders rarely brush the bottom of the seat with their knees and if they do they just glide along the smooth edges on the bottom. The iBert Safe-T seat is easy to install. The patented stinger assembly attaches to any bike with a minimum of 3/4 inches on the handle bar stem. The stinger system attaches to the bike in just two minutes and the seat can then be attached and detached from the stinger in 15 seconds. My 19-month old son loves riding in his new bike seat! I have a beach cruiser, so the handle bars are pretty wide and it's a perfect fit. I also love the front mount. Overall, great buy! I highly recommend.

Our son (19 months) loves this seat! He wants to go for a ride every time he sees it. It is nice for him to be able to see where he is going and hold onto my handlebars like he is actually riding the bike! The only complaint my husband and I have is the lack of leg room. We put a longer, more angled stem on the bike to make it more upright(we have it on a mountain bike), but we still hit our knees on the back of the ibert. We are both tall 5'10" so we have to pedal with our knees out which is uncomfortable. It might work better on a hybrid or cruiser bike. All in all it was a great purchase and we are having a lot of fun with it!

I first tried this out on a rental cruiser once with my son and he loved sitting in the front. I ended up purchasing it (although it is VERY spendy!). Works great on my inexpensive beach cruiser. My son is 16mos old now and has plenty of growing room. He always appears comfortable and usually cries when he has to get out! Definitely secure, although you need to use caution and NEVER leave your child on the bike in the seat without being next to them...they can tip over! You do not notice a change in balancing when riding, completely balanced.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Shipping and quality are worth 10 stars. Simple assembly.

My son loves this seat. He loves riding on the bike with me. I think it is great that he has an unobstructed view and I like having him right in front of me where I can keep tabs on him. It is very easy to install. I really like this bike seat.

WE LOVE THIS BIKE SEAT!!! We've had it for a few months now and it has provided hours of fun for our family. I saw some people using this seat in the area that I frequently walk and thought it was a cool idea so I ordered one ( as opposed to a rear-mounted seat.) I loved how easy it was to mount on our cruiser bike and how my son is able to see out and hold the handlebars too. It's much more fun and interactive for the child this way as opposed to behind the parent. I feel much safer with him over the center of the bike's balance and between the handlebars (should the bike ever fall.) It is so much easier to steer and balance the bike with the child mounted in this position too. We feel so safe and comfortable when using this seat and taking family bike rides has been so much fun for us...especially for our 18 month old son!!! I highly recommend this bike seat!
