M0ngoose Vanish December 27, 2008 Wolfhound (Texas) I bought this bike for 197.00 at a local retailer and the quality is ok and it looks nice...but you cannot expect to get much of a bike for 2-3 hundred dollars. Most durable bikes will cost you 500.00 and up. For the price it is worth it..u can always upgrade some of the components later.

I bought it from fogdog.com when they had a 25% off and free shipping deal. Even with that deal, I ended up with only saving a few dollars than buy directly from Amazon. But at that time, Amazon only sell these bike through fogdog. Let's talk about the bike. It looks pretty cool(or at least I think so), with all the disc brake, dual suspension stuff. But the quality is not so great. I think you get what you've paid for. The shifting gears are not stable, for they cannot sustain in some of the combination and will make a lot of noise as they were yelling for a change. The crank start making cyclical noise after like 3 days. But the noise magically disappears after 2 weeks or so. But this back and forth just made me less confident in the quality of this bike. As I only use it as transportation from my living place to school, and I never give it any maintenance for the month I've owned it, I guess it's what you get for the money. Can't complain.
