My grandson, Max, loves his new BMX Bike. He is 6 1/2 years old and 48 inches tall. He rides this bike every day full speed. I've purchased crossbar and handlebar pads on Amazon for his safety (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012IQIZU/ref=ox_ya_oh_product).
I put this bike together on Christmas Eve. What a surprise not to find any directions. So ... I used "Common Sense" and put it together. But ... they need to either put directions in the shipping box, or have better directions on the web site.
