Pain to assemble but great bike. January 3, 2009 Robert Baker (Arizona) Like most other reviews i am happy with the bike. However i spent a few hours disassembling the axle from the rim and trying to get that damn other nut off. That is absolutely nuts how they are allowing it like that. The other week i got into a little accident. A car trying to make it across the street before traffic picked up didn't see me. I barly seen the car and hit the brakes, but it was too late. I smacked the side of the car pretty good. It misaligned the handlebars really bad, but the rim and everything was great. The only thing i did was realign the bars. The rim may need slightly trued but am not noticing a difference. So it can survive a crash. The brakes do squeal really loud though. However great bike if you can assemble it.

My 11 y.o. kid is absolutely happy with the bike and calls me biking at every opportunity. Pros: Great looking, nice ride, light. Cons: Really poor instruction manual, hard to assemble, even for PhD ME, hard ride if you look for comfort, not for trails.
Lamborghini Leggenda Comfort Bike Review September 29, 2008 TM (KC) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Started looking at comfort bikes for my son at local bike shops and the average price was $400 - $500. We wanted to spend about $300 and found this bike at Amazon for $250. Never bought a bike online before, but it appeared to be a nice looking bike that had all of the features/equipment we were looking for, so we purchased it. Delivery only took a week and when we received it, assembly was required. The assembly was not difficult, just take your time and follow the directions (at least the gears were preset.) The only problem we experienced was a broken spoke in delivery but had a bike shop repair it for a few bucks. My son really likes the bike, he rides it all the time. Overall, I would say the entire experince was terrific and well worth it.
Great Bike June 21, 2008 Commute to work (So Cal) The bike came well packed but they have the crank going through the front wheel and zip tied. I had a broken spoke adjuster once I got it all unpacked. I bought a new one for $.21 at the bike store so no big problem. I got the 25" frame and it's almost too tall for me. I'm 6'2. The seat is real comfortable and the bike is very light. Smooth ride but a little harsh on the bumps. I have 75lbs of air in the tires for less rolling resistance. The instructions are worthless for the most part but it all goes together if you just use common sense. The gears needed to be adjusted which is a little bit of a pain. You might want a bike shop to do it. I just used trial and error until I got it where all the gears shifted correctly. The shifting is great, push the bottom lever to down shift and the upper on to upshift. The left side does the crank gears and the right one does the ones on the rear wheel. For the money it's a great bike!
great city bike at a very reasonable price April 14, 2008 P. Miller 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Out of the box I put this bike together in less than 2 hours without any problems. It is a great looking bike, and a pleasure to ride with its light aluminum frame and easy shifting. I put a rack on the back, and a basket on the front and I'm saving lots of gas by not using the car.
